2010 World Series of Poker Event #3 – Day 1A Draws 2,601 Runners

The 3rd Event of the 2010 World Series of Poker is the $1,000 NL Event. This year, a $1,000 event will be held every weekend of the WSOP to take advantage of the amazing success the “Stimulus Special” had in 2009. Steve Sung took down that event and over $700,000 in prize money.

This event, as all $1,000 NL Events, will have two starts days. This first $1,000 Event drew 2,601 players for Day 1a and both pros and amateurs alike took their seats at the event. Joe Cada kicked off the customary “Shuffle Up and Deal” call and then took his seat in the event. Joining him were Chris Moneymaker, Kara Scott, Matt Stout, Vanessa Rousso, Humberto Brenes, and many more.
