When to Fold

Players, especially novices, would ask, “When do I fold?” Knowing when to fold comes easy with experienced players, especially with the aggressive poker players. But to inexperienced players, it may take some time before they would know when to fold.

This comes with the gradual development of their poker strategies and skills. If you don’t have a strategy when you’re playing a game, you wouldn’t know when to fold.

Here are some folding tips that could use while you are still learning the game:

1. It would be wise to fold if you have poor starting hands.
2. You should fold when, after a flop, you are still holding poor hands.
3. You should also fold when, after a turn, you are still holding a poor hand.
