Thanks a lot from Frankfurt, Germany!
is there a mac version of this?? thanks
No, we don’t currently offer a Mac version of the poker clock.
Folks,
I have used the Poker Clock for years and love it. Unfortunately, something has gone wrong and it no longer works the same. The applicaiton runs fine but is no loner centered on my screen. It looks like it is off center – to high and too far to the right. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no luck. If there is a setting that is hidden in a dll somewhere, it may not be getting erased from ym system. Can someone help? I’ve tried my old version from June 2006 and downloaded the most up-to-date applicaiton a fwe weeks ago with the same results.
Thank you. Mike Arpaia
Dear HoledmPoker.com,
I would like to see a response to Mike’s question posted 7.22.09. I too, have used your clock for years. I thoroughly have enjoyed it, and truly appreciate your site making it available to people for free. However, my original version is experiencing the same issue (mine is actually off-centered high & to the left). I had always worried that there may be some expiration timer embedded, and maybe that is what is going on here.
Please let me know if there is a solution to fix the original version so I can pass it along to others that I have sent your program to – and who enjoy it as much as I do!
Thanks & looking forward to your reply,
Ted
BTW – The computer I have the Poker Clock loaded on is a Windows 2000 Professional. I had a friend download the new version to his WIndows XP Professional laptop and it loads correctly. I really need this to work on my Windows 2000 Pro laptop as that is all that I have. The version I have worked perfectly on July 18 when I held a tourny. I am running a tourny for 30 people tomorrow so I am a bit frantic.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Even if it is to tell me that “I am out of luck”. I have no complaints as I have used this clock for free for several years, and I thank-you for that. But I need to know if I need to download a new fee-based poker clock for my tourny tomorrow.
Thanks – Ted
Users of the poker clock. I have seen the issues that you are experiencing and it appears that the clock is setup to run on a screen resolution of 800 by 600. When I changed my screen resolution to that, the clock worked fine. That might be one workaround for those wanting to use the clock. The software looks to have been made when 800 x 600 was the standard and it just wasn’t adapted. I will try and contact some folks to see if this can get changed, but in the meantime, try using the 800×600 resolution and you should be able to use it. I was able to.
The HoldemPoker.com poker clock is not being developed any more. We have therefore replaced it with the bwin poker clock, brought to you by bwin Poker.
