Some Problems with Rush Poker
Since Rush Poker has came out on Full Tilt, I have found myself playing a lot more Holdem and now Pot Limit Omaha than I have in the past. The allure of seeing up to 200 hands per hour is just too good to pass up and the games are indeed incredibly soft. However, as time as pass, I have noticed some glaring potential pitfalls to playing Rush Poker. In this article, I will share some things I have noticed.
Tendency to Become Impatient Outside of Rush Poker
The number one thing I have noticed about my online game outside of Rush Poker is that I tend to be a bit impatient when I try and play Holdem at a normal speed table. Playing Rush Poker tends to spoil you with the utter speed that you can play the game at. You find yourself being a bit more impatient at other tables.
Not Giving Enough Credit for Raises
I have caught myself in some cases not giving the proper credit to raises in certain hands. If I have any reasonable hand and the raise is not large, I tend to call it as many times the player from late position is trying to steal. However, I have found myself calling raises in the blind a little too often from certain mid position raisers. I have also found myself calling a hand with a medium or mid-high pair or big ace in spots I would normally fold. Part of this is due to seeing too many people shove with crazy hands.
Blinds Are Not Divided Equally
The one problem I see the most in Rush Poker is when you get the blinds several hands in a row or four hands out of five. The rule of the player that has went the longest without posting the big blind has forced some weird blind posting situations. Granted, they don’t eat a huge part of your stack, but it is still annoying.
Still Not Enough Variety
While Omaha has a game at nearly every limit, fixed limit and Omaha 8 or better is still scare in offerings. Stud based games are still non-existent. It seems that they could offer lower stake stud games and a little more fixed limit Holdem action.
Rush Poker has been a great addition to Full Tilt. I have found myself playing a lot more cash than I normally would and I have been posting a decent profit in the games. Its popularity is holding strong and appears to be here to stay. Good luck to you at the tables.

Rush Poker Blinds
In 34 hands I paid the blinds 15 times. Sometimes 2-5 times in a row. It added up to $1, not a lot but if I play for a while it adds up at 9 seat, a .2 & .5 table. This cant be as random as FT claims it is?
That is the #1 complaint that I have heard regarding rush poker.
