There are a number of different games out there that are variants of traditional poker. Draw poker, Five Card Stud, No Peek and a ton of further subset variations of these games exist as well. In recent years, Texas Holdem Poker has become significantly popular among the many new fans of online poker who have emerged over the years.
For whatever reason, Texas Holdem Poker has emerged as one of the most popular of the “new” poker games and many online gaming institutions have developed solid costumer bases from them. This is fine as anything that increases the popularity of poker is appreciated and this includes new variants such as Texas Holdem Poker. So, as long as this particular game remains popular then online poker will remain wildly popular as well and this is a good thing.

I’ve been reading some poker books, and I came across a chapter which they talk about leveraging. One of the things that they discuss is “Textured” flops and they explain it this way:
A highly textured flop is 10-8-7, two suits. A nontextured flop is like K-8-2, three suits. When they say here “two & three suits”, do they mean the suits are different or the same 2 or 3 suits?

In the regards to two suits, they mean that there are two suits among the three cards. If the flop was 10s-8s-7d then the flop has two suits of spades and diamonds. Three suits would mean that the flop would have three different suits. This is also referred to as a rainbow flop. I would have preferred the author state that the flop was 10-8-7 with two clubs. That would have been clearer.
In the example you had, the flop was highly textured because there was a potential straight draw and a flush draw on the flop.
