The quick answer is yes, it does.  But, my experience is that you should play tighter poker online than in real life.  When you play online everything goes much faster and you should be careful before making your moves so in case you are unsure of how to act, it&#039;s better to fold and play tight. 

In live poker, things take more time and players seem to have less patience and rather take risks with weak cards instead of folding and wait for a better opportunity.
