WSOP Player of the Year Standings Through 12 Events
The Player of the Year format was recently revamped and made to resemble that of Bluff Magazine’s Player of the Year formula. As such, higher buy-in events and events with larger fields get more weight than smaller buy-in or small field events.
We have the current standings for Player of the Year through twelve events. Amir Lehavot is the current leader with 330.75 points. He took down the $10,000 Pot-Limit Hold’em Championship last Friday for $573,456. Viacheslav Zhukov is right behind him with 315 points. He took down the $10,000 Omaha Hi-Lo Championship bracelet just yesterday. Jake Cody, the $10,000 Heads-Up Champion, is third with 300 points.
